Dr. EURAN GRAHAM
Euan Graham is one of two senior fellows based in Singapore supporting the Shangri-La Dialogue, Fullerton Forum and other activities run by IISS–Asia. He is also responsible for furthering research within the IISS on defence and security in the Western Pacific. His main areas of expertise are Australia’s strategic policy, regional maritime affairs and the geopolitics of the Korean Peninsula. Dr Graham has previously held prominent think tank positions in Australia and Singapore and was a senior research officer in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, including time on the ground in Pyongyang. He has authored a book on Japan’s sea lane security and writes regularly on diverse Asia-Pacific strategic themes.
